March 30, 2008 - ING Half Marathon in Atlanta, GA!
If we want to ensure that we are equipping the next generation of “healthy” young men we must explore the word healthy.
Healthy includes physical, emotional, and spiritually health and all are equally as important. This past weekend three members of BAM, braved the 40 degree temperatures and threatening rain and ran the second annual ING Half Marathon in Atlanta, GA. The 2008 ING Half Marathon marked John Brantley and Drew Brantley’s 3rd father/son half marathon.

Father/Son pairs ventured in the wilderness of the western North Carolina Mountains for a weekend of adventure, discussion, and fellowship. The weekend had 3 goals:
- Strengthen the relationship between the father and son.
- Empower the son.
- Last but certainly not least ...ADVENTURE!
"The experience was great. My son and I didn't want to leave. We can’t wait to come back. The food was over the top."
- A Father
"Thanks for the consistency and the perfect blend of fun and growth, of light-heartedness and seriousness, of challenge and of relaxation. These are difficult parameters to blend well but you have done so expertly."
